What is the Greenway Committee?

The Greenway Committee’s mission is to provide advice related to the greenway development, promotion of the greenway usage and assist staff with decisions relating to the current and future plans for the greenway system. The committee will assist in the development of greenway policies and provide direction involving programs at the greenway, personnel, maintenance, finances and the acquisition of lands and properties.


The Greenway Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of each quarter (January, April, July, October) at 5:15 p.m. at City Park.

The City of Salisbury has 13 active, standing boards and commissions created and appointed by Salisbury City Council.

REQUIREMENTS


Board terms are staggered for 2-year or 3-year terms and most end on March 31. Applicants must be 18 and a Salisbury resident, with some exceptions.
