Salisbury Parks and Recreation announces its Sounds of Salisbury free spring concert series at Bell Tower Green, on the first and fourth Sundays in March and April, beginning March 6.
The City of Salisbury will operate on a limited schedule for the Presidents Day holiday, Monday, Feb. 21.
City departments will begin their budget process later this month in preparation for the upcoming fiscal year. Fiscal Year 2023 (FY2023) is the city’s budget year that will run from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. The adopted budget ordinance will set the new tax rate and city fees.

This month’s employee spotlight is Arlette Oglesby. In 1988, she started her career with the City of Salisbury Administration Department as support staff for the city manager, assistant city manager and city clerk.
