Winter Spruce Up 2023

During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m. The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (up to 5) and extra bagged trash. This is a great time to encourage a neighborhood cleanup! This collection is for residents living inside the city limits of Salisbury only. NO BUSINESSES.

Employee Spotlight: Fern Blair, Web and Marketing Services Coordinator

This month’s employee spotlight is Fern Blair, web and marketing services coordinator for the City of Salisbury Communications Department.  In her role, Fern manages the city’s websites and branding, designs the monthly newsletter and provides marketing and design support to city departments for events, programs and educational initiatives.

Employee Spotlight: Delando Clowney Jr., Recreation Coordinator

Delando Clowney Jr., a recreation coordinator for the parks and recreation department, is this month’s employee spotlight. He is responsible for planning and operating activities at Miller Recreation Teen Center. In his role, Delando supervises and supports teen center staff, communicates and works with teens, individuals and community groups to create programs of interest for teens, and manages the facility’s budget.
