During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m.

The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash. This is a great time to encourage a neighborhood cleanup!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration - Drive Thru Resource Fair

The Salisbury Human Relations Council (HRC) will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Weekend in a slightly different format than previous years due to COVID-19. The 2021 theme, “United in Service to Remember the Dream” will be incorporated into a number of weekend activities, Saturday, Jan.16 through Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.

Zoom Presentation for Public Input on Main Street Plan

In summer 2019 the City of Salisbury hired McAdams, a professional engineering and design firm, to design plans to improve the safety, mobility and appearance of a 10 block section of Main Street. This project is in the stage of receiving community feedback on the plans for restriping and the opportunity to change the lanes and parking angles on Main Street.
