Salisbury Fire Department celebrates upcoming 200th anniversary with historical marker and fire truck parade, Friday, Dec. 8

One of the oldest documented fire departments in the state of N.C., will celebrate its 200th anniversary, Friday, Dec. 8 with a historical marker dedication and a fire truck parade in downtown Salisbury.

Transit Announces Holiday Parade and Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

Salisbury Transit will cease fixed-route services Wednesday November 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm for the Holiday Parade. We will resume service as soon as the parade is over. There will be NO regular fixed-route bus service on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

The first class (arrest, search, and seizure laws) will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. at the Salisbury Police Station located at 130 East Liberty Street. Registration for this class is already closed. Another class will be available next quarter.
