Concert in the Park?? Yes Please! The Sounds of Salisbury Spring Concert Series will host local talent from Rowan County. Showtime starts at 3:00 pm. Bring a blanket or chair and your listening ears! April 28 will showcase Women in the Round featuring Louis Bodak and Duke Wicker and Mia Mason.

The City of Salisbury is partnering with Rufty-Holmes Senior Center Board of Directors to create a Master Plan for a new dedicated senior center space, recreation space and an outdoor aquatics facility at the current Salisbury Civic Center site located at 315 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. This project will propose updating recreation, aquatics, and senior center facilities for both the City’s and County’s current and future needs based on consideration of history, demographics, and future growth.

The City of Salisbury and Rufty-Holmes Senior Center are excited to announce a series of input sessions for the Parks and Recreation & Senior Center Master Plan. These sessions offer residents the opportunity to provide input for the development of the new recreation, aquatics, and senior center project.
