What is TAB?

The Transportation Advisory Board serves as the advisory board for the Transit Division and the City. The board serves as a liaison between the Division, the Manager, the City Council and citizens of the community. The board shall consult, advise and make recommendations to the Director of the Division in matters affecting service design, service scheduling, service fares, unmet needs in the service area, marketing, and performance measures.


All Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) meetings are scheduled to start at 12:00 noon.

TAB meets at The Plaza, 100 West Innes Street, 2nd Floor, Suite 201.

The City of Salisbury has 14 active, standing boards and commissions created and appointed by Salisbury City Council.

REQUIREMENTS


Board terms are staggered for two-year or three-year terms and most end on March 31. Applicants must be 18 and a Salisbury resident, with some exceptions.
