What is the HRC?

The mission of the Human Relations Commission is to create an environment of hospitality, inclusiveness, acceptance and appreciation of the diversity of all people. 

Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 217 South Main St. Salisbury, NC 28144.

The City of Salisbury has 14 active, standing boards and commissions created and appointed by Salisbury City Council.

REQUIREMENTS


Board terms are staggered for two-year or three-year terms and most end on March 31. Applicants must be 18 and a Salisbury resident, with some exceptions.
