April 30 will showcase Destiny Stone and Ashley Blaire.
Destiny Stone is Mississippi raised and Carolina made! She brings a blend of gospel, blues, jazz and soul. Destiny was nominated for a 2019 Carolina Music Award and was featured on the cover of the Salisbury Magazine March 2020. Additionally, you can hear her music in the Oprah Winfrey Network's drama series "Delilah" in episodes 2, 5, and 6. Destiny is a graduate of Catawba College and currently resides in Salisbury and works as a middle school music teacher.
Ashley Blaire, a 2016 graduate of North Rowan High School, was a member of the National Honor Society and basketball team. Ashley played collegiate basketball at Belmont Abbey College. Ashley knew that she was destined to be a star from the age of 5. Her confidence and charismatic personality to be a singer and actress, was inspired by watching many great legends such as Mahalia Jackson, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Angela Bassett, Brandy, Beyoncè and Kim Burrell (just to name a few), and has landed her many great opportunities, such as appearing on the 2022 season of American Idol, making it to the Top 59.
