Salisbury Police continues its “Cultivating Community Conversations” series

Input, listening sessions funded by second $25,000 Duke Energy Grant

The Salisbury Police Department (SPD) is continuing its series of in-person conversations with the community, this time with a focus on engaging the Latino community Tuesday, April 23, at 5 p.m. at City Park, 316 Lake Dr.

The Salisbury Police Department is partnering with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Delta Xi Omega Chapter to host a free Mental Health Fair, Saturday, May 4, at Bell Tower Green, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 12 service agencies are expected to provide mental health resources to Fair attendees in recognition of National Mental Health Month.

Party with a purpose! For almost 10 years Earth Day Jam was held on the outskirts of town on a local horse farm. Many patrons over the years asked why we didn’t move the event Downtown. Well, the wide open spaces, grassy fields and green space are incredibly important to our vibe. Now that Bell Tower Green is open, it has proved to be the perfect location!

The City of Salisbury's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department and the Salisbury Police Department invites local members of the Latino community to a neighborhood forum to meet and engage with officers on Tuesday, April 23, 5:30 p.m. at City Park Recreation Center located at 316 Lake Drive Salisbury, NC 28144.
