Public Works' Street Department will be temporarily closing W. Henderson St. to conduct much needed concrete sidewalk repairs.
The city of Salisbury is hosting a drop-in, public information session, Tuesday, July 23, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at City Hall, 217 S. Main St., to share plans and gather input on the 2025 “Reimagining Main Street” construction project. The upcoming redevelopment encompasses six blocks between Horah Street to Kerr Street.

The City of Salisbury, in coordination with the N.C. Department of Transportation, proposes to improve the safety, mobility, and appearance of a ten (10)-block section of US 29 (Main Street) in Rowan County.
The Salisbury Police Department hosts a monthly Salisbury Neighborhood Action Group (SNAG) meeting. At these meetings, citizens will hear monthly updates concerning drug investigations, criminal investigations, and code enforcement issues.
