Zion Hills Apartment Shooting

Information regarding November 8th shooting

On November 8, 2022, at approximately 2:05 p.m., the Salisbury Police Department (SPD) responded to Zion Hills apartment located at 1614 Standish Street regarding a shooting. During the investigation, a juvenile was taken into custody after it was determined he had possessed a handgun and discharged it at an unknown subject on a moped armed with an unknown type of long gun who returned fire. The juvenile was transported to a secure facility. 

SPD is actively working to identify the unknown subject on the moped who returned fire. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Lt. Crews at (704) 638-5333 or send a private message to the Salisbury Police Department Facebook or Twitter pages at @SalisburyNCPD.
