Two Holiday Contests This Year!

Two Holiday Contests This Year!

Salisbury is celebrating the festive holiday spirit of residents and businesses with two exciting contests that let you play a role in decorating and beautifying our community this holiday season. Vote for Your Favorite Downtown Holiday Décor

From 2004 to 2022, the Community Appearance Commission (CAC) selected the winners for the Downtown Holiday Decoration Awards. Last year, the community selected, recognizing the festive efforts of Salisbury’s downtown businesses. This year, you’re invited to explore downtown Salisbury, enjoy the creative holiday displays, and cast your vote for your favorite decorated storefronts.

Voting is open until Tuesday, December 10, 2024. To participate, visit www.salisburync.gov/holidaydecor and submit your vote. As a thank-you for voting, Downtown Salisbury, Inc. and the CAC will enter participants into a raffle to win one of two prizes. Don’t miss this chance to spread holiday cheer and maybe win a little something for yourself! Holiday Landscape of the Month

In addition to the Downtown contest, the CAC is introducing a special Holiday Landscape of the Month award! Typically awarded during the warmer months, this year there will be three holiday winners. Each monthly winner will receive a keepsake award and a sign to proudly display in their landscape throughout the month.

Know a beautifully decorated yard, business, or landmark that deserves recognition? Nominations are open until Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Submit your nomination at salisburync.gov/Landscape to highlight the best holiday landscapes in the city of Salisbury.
