The Public Arts Commission (PAC) is on a mission to expand the types of art the commission supports and reach more residents through artistic expression. Inspired by programs in St. Paul, Minnesota, Santa Clarita, California and Cambridge, Massachusetts, the PAC sent out a call to Rowan County poets. The selection committee received 28 submissions, and chose 8 to be stamped into sidewalks along a 1.25 mile route through Downtown Salisbury.
