Salisbury ranks top 20 in best small cities to start a business in 2019

The City of Salisbury has been recognized as one of the best small cities in the country to start a small business. According to a report released by WalletHub, Salisbury was named the 16th best small city to start a business and tied for 1st in the highest average growth in number of small businesses.

To determine the most business-friendly small markets in the U.S., WalletHub compared more than 1,200 cities with fewer than 100,000 residents across 18 key metrics. The data set ranges from small business growth rates and accessibility of financing to investor access and labor costs.
