Salisbury, N.C. (Thursday, March 17, 2016) – Piedmont Natural Gas will begin work on a natural gas pipeline running through Salisbury’s Kelsey Scott Park, Monday, March 21. The project is expected to take two weeks to complete.

The utility company will install a rectifier ground bed over the current pipe to prevent erosion and rusting.

While the park will remain open during this period, residents should be mindful of the groundwork going on in the area parallel to the creek. The construction zone will be marked with orange cones, caution tape and signage.
