Communities within the City of Salisbury will observe National Night Out, Tuesday, Aug. 7, with free music, food, children’s games and other outdoor activities, featuring officers of the Salisbury Police Department (SPD). The National Night Out celebrations are in addition to the centralized Community Block Party hosted by the Salisbury Police Department the week prior.

Salisbury City Council and city staff will host the third in a series of community town hall meetings titled, Chit, Chat & Chew, Thursday, Aug. 23, with dinner beginning at 5:15 p.m., at Destiny City Church, 2324 S.
