During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m. The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash.
West End residents are encouraged to complete the survey for the West End Salisbury Transformed Empowered Neighborhood Development (WEST END) $800,000 grant project in conjunction with the Salisbury Police Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Community Planning Department and the Salisbury-Rowan NAACP. The 25th Annual 5K for the Greenway -Run/Walk & Half-Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
The location will be at Knox Middle School - 1625 Park Road West, Salisbury, NC 28144, with start times as follows: 5K-8:00 a.m., and Fun Run-8:45 a.m.
The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to bring a summer concert series to Bell Tower Green. There will be even fantastic performances by local musicians on the park stage, using state-of-the-art sound. All you need to bring is a lawn chair or a blanket and a joy for music! The music starts at 7 p.m.
The City Council is the governing body of the City of Salisbury. The Council is comprised of five members who are elected on a non-partisan basis for two-year terms. Each Council member serves at-large and represents the entire City.
