During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m. The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024 the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Weekend Parade will return to downtown Salisbury. We invite the entire Salisbury-Rowan Community to participate. This year there will be no parade entry fee.

Land and development services department begins “Walk-In Wednesdays” service

Salisbury’s land and development services department transitions to a Wednesday walk-in only service and a by-appointment format for the remaining weekdays to create a more efficient and consistent permitting process for residents, business owners and developers. The new office schedule will begin Monday, Jan. 22.
