Termination of State of Emergency

TERMINATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, on January 25, 2026, pursuant to Article 1A of Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General Statutes and Chapter 15-62 of the City of Salisbury Code of Ordinances, a State of Emergency was declared within the City of Salisbury; and

WHEREAS, on January 30, 2026, pursuant to Article 1A of Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General Statutes and Chapter 15-62 of the City of Salisbury Code of Ordinances, a Second (or continuing) State of Emergency was declared within the City of Salisbury; and

WHEREAS, said declarations of a State of Emergency applied within the corporate limits of the City of Salisbury; and

WHEREAS, conditions constituting each of the States of Emergency no longer exist in the City of Salisbury.

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the authority vested in me as the Mayor of the City of Salisbury, I hereby proclaim that the State of Emergency declared on the January 25, 2026, and the State of Emergency declared on January 30, 2026, are hereby terminated.
