City of Salisbury Operations Update for Tuesday, February 3
City offices will open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s City Council meeting has been moved to 4 p.m.
Bell Tower Green and Community Park will be open, as will Parks and Recreation facilities.
Parks and Rec facilities will close at 5 p.m.
Garbage collection will proceed as planned, with Monday and Tuesday routes collected Tuesday.
Regular service is expected to continue the remainder of the week as conditions allow.
Recycling collection, provided by Republic Services, will operate on a one-day delay.
Residents should place recycling carts at the curb by 7 a.m.
No limb collection will take place this week.
Salisbury Transit and Salisbury Connect will not operate Tuesday.
Due to extremely cold temperatures, the City is experiencing an increased number of water main breaks. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is responding first to the most critical issues and will continue repairs as conditions allow.
