Reimagining Main Street
The City of Salisbury, in coordination with the N.C. Department of Transportation, proposes to improve the safety, mobility, and appearance of a ten (10)-block section of US 29 (Main Street) in Rowan County.
Today, AARP announced that the City of Salisbury has received a 2024 Community Challenge grant – part of the largest group of grantees to date with $3.8 million awarded among 343 organizations nationwide.

Salisbury City Council has adopted the fiscal year 2024-2025 (FY25) budget recommended by City Manager Jim Greene last month. The upcoming fiscal year is the city’s annual financial period beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
