Salisbury Customer Service Center moving to non face-to-face interactions

Due to the precautionary social distancing measures implemented at the recommendation of federal, state and Rowan County officials, the Salisbury Customer Service Center will limit face-to-face transactions. Customers should use the following FREE alternatives to pay bills:

  • Pay by phone at (704) 638-5300, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Check, debit, credit cards are accepted. Press Option 1 to make a payment. Routing number and bank account information needed for check payments.
  • Talk to a CSR by phone (704) 638-5300 Monday - Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Payment options available online at www.salisburync.gov/pay
    • One-Time Payments – No registration required – Must have 14-digit account number including the dash.
    • Pay-By-Text – Register and receive monthly statement via text and pay instantly   
    • Auto Pay- Register online with debit, credit cards or checking information
    • Paperless billing – Register online to receive monthly statement via email
  • Sign up for EFT (Direct Debit) – Requires authorization form and voided check submitted to Customer Service. Payment will be drafted on the 10th of every month (or next Business Day if the 10th is a weekend or Holiday)
  • Utilize Bill Pay through your bank (check with your bank for details)
  • Pay by mail. Send your check or money order with the bottom portion of your bill to: City of Salisbury, P.O. Box 740600, Atlanta, GA  30374
  • Pay via the drive-thru located at Customer Service Center (follow signs) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 6 Drop box locations Place check or money order in an enclosed envelope with the bottom portion of your bill.

Current COVID-19 Restrictions

Executive Order 185:

  • Lifts the Modified Stay at Home Order established under Executive Order 181
  • Still requires face coverings in all public indoor settings
  • Allows many businesses to operate at 50% capacity
  • Extends onsite service of alcohol until 11 p.m.
  • Lifts the 100-person cap on some businesses that were operating at 30% capacity
  • Allows some indoor businesses – including bars and taverns, indoor amusement parks, movie theaters and indoor sports arenas – to open at 30% capacity (with a cap of 250 people)
  • Allows larger indoor arenas with a capacity of more than 5,000 people to open at 15% capacity with no cap (as long as additional safety protocols in place)
  • Increases the indoor mass gathering limit to 25 people (the outdoor mass gathering limit remains at 50 people)

Each of these routes arrives and departs from the central Transfer Site on Depot St. Any bus you board can take you to the Transfer Site. Any member of the public may ride on the bus. The buses do not operate on holidays.

Please note that the last time listed for a stop indicates the last bus will be traveling to that location and no further transfers are available.

Covid-19: What are the 3 w's for COVID-19? 1 Wear a cloth mask over your nose and mouth. 2 Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact. 3 Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
