What To Do If There Is A Break On Your Private Water Service Line

If you suspect a large water break in or around your home, Salisbury Rowan Utilities (SRU) urges its customers to contact SRU’s maintenance Department  at 704-638-5390 or the Salisbury Customer Service Center (CSC) at 704-638-5300 to report the break.

Next, technicians will be dispatched to shut off water at the meter to contain the situation.
After repairs are completed by the property owner, customers should notify (CSC) and request that a technician return to the property to restore water service.

To monitor water patterns and receive leak alerts, customers are encouraged to sign up for eyeonwater.com/signup.
This free app gives customers the ability to track, compare and review previous and current water usage, by providing more information to manage their bills more effectively.

Customers should to continue to pay monthly water bills and submit a repair statement to CSC identifying the cause.   After the usage returns to average levels the account will qualify for an adjustment review.
