On Friday, September 27, 2024, at approximately 7:35 PM, the Salisbury Police Department responded to the 300 Block of North Fulton Street in reference to a shooting. Arriving Officers located a 14-year-old male that had sustained gunshot wounds. First responders quickly arrived and transported the male to Novant Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The male unfortunately succumbed to his injuries once he arrived at the Hospital.

Investigators are able to determine that the victim was walking in the 500 Block of North Ellis Street when he was shot by unknown individual(s). The victim was able to walk to the 300 Block of North Fulton St before collapsing.

No suspects have been arrested for this incident. The Salisbury Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the incident. Due to the nature of this investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
