Downtown Salisbury, Inc. (DSI) and Catawba College’s Ralph W. Ketner School of Business (KSOB) implemented a program to assist downtown businesses in the areas of marketing research and consumer behavior. 

Cheerwine, the 103-year-old soft drink born and based in Salisbury, N.C., is once again teaming up with its home city to host the fourth annual “Cheerwine Festival” on Saturday, May 16, from noon-10 p.m. An estimated 60,000 people attended the 2019 event. 

The Salisbury Police Department is investigating a crime scene at 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. where six victims were shot at approximately 12:05 a.m. following a party at Thelma’s Restaurant.
