The Salisbury Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit with the assistance of the Salisbury Police Department CID and SRT, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department Special Investigative Unit and SRT, executed two simultaneous search warrants on Wednesday morning (9/25/2019). These search warrants were the result of a several month long investigation by the Salisbury Police Vice/Narcotics Unit. Multiple firearms and drugs were found during these raids. 

Salisbury Public Services Director Tony Cinquemani III has announced his retirement, effective February 2020, making way for W. Craig Powers’ promotion to lead the department.

The Salisbury, N.C. Public Art Committee announces a call for entries for the 2020 Salisbury Sculpture Show. Artists are invited to submit their outdoor pieces for consideration in the award-winning art installation program by Friday, Dec. 20.

At 11:26 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 19, Salisbury Police were dispatched to 628 W. Kerr St, in reference to a shooting.

The Salisbury Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a subject that is responsible for an attempted armed robbery at the Bank of America located at 500 West Innes St in Salisbury this afternoon.
