The City Council is the governing body of the City of Salisbury. The Council is comprised of five members who are elected on a non-partisan basis for two-year terms. Each Council member serves at-large and represents the entire City.
Lights! Camera! Action! The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to bring back its Summer Movies in the Park series to Bell Tower Green. There will be six fantastic weeks of high quality movie screenings. Your favorite characters will be larger than life on the gigantic 25 foot inflatable screen accompanied by state-of-the-art sound. All you need is a lawn chair or a blanket and desire for a good time!
The PAC will meet from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm via Zoom unless decided otherwise by member vote. Subcommittee meetings will be called as needed with public notice.
The Salisbury Police Department hosts a monthly Salisbury Neighborhood Action Group (SNAG) meeting. At these meetings, citizens will hear monthly updates concerning drug investigations, criminal investigations, and code enforcement issues.

During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m. The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash.
The Greenway, Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of each quarter (January, April, July, October) at 5:15 p.m. at City Park.
The 25th Annual 5K for the Greenway -Run/Walk & Half-Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
The location will be at Knox Middle School - 1625 Park Road West, Salisbury, NC 28144, with start times as follows: 5K-8:00 a.m., and Fun Run-8:45 a.m.
The Dixonville Task Force meets every 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10 am-11:30 am in the first floor conference room of City Hall.
