Hurley Park will host a self-guided tree tour, Roots of Resilience-A Self-Guided Tree Tour, during Rowan Creek Week, Saturday, Sept. 14th through Saturday, Sept. 21st.
Visitors can follow the map and signage to discover Hurley Park’s trees, such as a Sycamore, Bald Cypress and Virginia Sweetspire, and the hidden benefits of trees to humans, wildlife, and stormwater runoff. Hurley Park is open from dawn until dusk.
During Creek Week, printed maps are available to pick up anytime at the Annandale Entrance, 304 Annandale Dr., Salisbury.
