Henkel to Expand in Salisbury

Leading Adhesives and Consumer Goods Manufacturer Investing in New Production Lines and Equipment

The Rowan EDC announced today that Henkel Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of adhesive technologies, laundry & home care and beauty care products, will expand its operations in Salisbury. The company will invest up to $45 million dollars in new equipment and a series of improvements at its Salisbury facility, including a new state-of-the-art production area for UV Acrylic Adhesives used in tapes and labels within the packaging and consumer goods industry.

The Public Art Committee (PAC) was formed in 2003 to celebrate the City’s history and culture through public art in the downtown, including the Salisbury Sculpture Show, History and Art Trail and the Art in Public Spaces program. 

The Public Art Committee meets at One Water Street at 11:30 a.m.

Improving the Future Health of City Park Lake

Now that we are able to move forward with the City Park Lake project, we have to think about the best uses of the park as a whole and the long-term effects of the landscaped areas around it.
