Suspect Arrested in Homicide Investigation

 

 

 

 

 

 

-- SUSPECT ARRESTED IN HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION --

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 9:00 pm, Salisbury Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred at 709 W. Kerr Street, Jersey City Park.
Shaleek Jaqwon Willams, 28 years old, died as a result of the shooting several hours after it occurred.
Salisbury Police Detectives conducted a lengthy investigation, and on May 11, 2026, Marcellus Anquan Steele (DOB 01/29/2002) was arrested and charged with:

▪️Felony Discharging a Firearm within an Enclosure to Incite Fear
▪️Felony Discharging a Firearm into Occupied Property or Vehicle

The investigation is ongoing to include identification of other involved parties that could lead to additional charges.
