City to Implement Updated Fee Schedules Starting October 1
As part of the adopted Fiscal Year 2025–2026 budget, the City of Salisbury will update several fee schedules beginning October 1, 2025. These changes support enhanced service delivery, cost recovery, and long-term infrastructure planning.
Effective October 1, 2025:
- Credit Card Convenience Fee: A 3% fee will apply to transactions over $1,000.
- Voluntary Annexation Petitions: $350 per petition.
- Technical Review Committee Review: $300 per submission.
- Re-Review of Construction Documents: $200 per hour after five initial reviews.
- Performance Guarantee Review: $100 per review.
- Grading Permits: $600 flat fee.
- Water/Sewer Line Installations Under Pavement: New fee schedule to recover pavement restoration costs.
These updates are part of the City's continued effort to align service costs with actual expenses and maintain high standards for safety, infrastructure, and community amenities.
