Detectives with the Salisbury Police Department have made two arrests in connection with the death investigation of Landis Darnell Glaspy (DOB: 03/17/1971), which was previously reported on January 22, 2026.
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of South Shaver Street and East Horah Street after a report of an unresponsive man. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Glaspy deceased in a wooded area near a residence.
Following an extensive investigation, Salisbury Police detectives have arrested the following individuals:
- Brandis Teon Imes, (DOB: 05/16/1980) Imes has been charged with § 14‑401.22 (e) Concealment of unnatural death; disturbing human remains
- Marcus Turner, (DOB: 05/09/1982) Jones has been charged with § 14‑401.22 (e) Concealment of unnatural death; disturbing human remains
Both individuals were taken into custody earlier this evening without incident and are currently being held at the Rowan County Detention Center.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Additional charges may be forthcoming as detectives continue to gather evidence and consult with the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office.
