The City of Salisbury is working with the community to create a new Comprehensive Plan for a stronger and smarter future. Forward 2040 will establish a framework to guide planning priorities and decisions over the next 20 years related to land use, future growth, physical development, and capital improvements.
Importantly, the plan will flow from the people’s vision of how we should work together, grow wisely, and live out values important to us all.
To make sure this plan meaningfully reflects the vision and priorities of all members of our community, we are offering many different ways residents can get involved. And we are designing our engagement strategy to reach the broadest possible audience, including lower-income households, communities of color, and other historically-underrepresented groups who may not have had a seat at the table in the past.
