On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Salisbury City Council selected DreamKey Partners and Self-Help Ventures Fund as their preferred development team for the phased redevelopment of the publicly owned 13-acre former Kesler Mill site into a mixed-income neighborhood.

Be the Difference, Be A Senior Admin Specialist

Employee Spotlight: Macy Emory

This month’s employee spotlight is Macy Emory, a Senior Administrative Specialist. In her role, Macy provides administrative support to the City Manager and Administration Department. She serves as a liaison between departments and the public, organizes and maintains files and records, and prepares correspondence and reports as needed.

Having been employed with the City for just over two years, Macy began her journey in local government with an internship with the City in 2018.

“What I enjoy most about my job is supporting my team while building and maintaining positive working relationships with city staff and Salisbury residents. I look forward to working each day because it always brings something different and provides a new opportunity to learn how the City operates and delivers exceptional services to its citizens.”
