The Salisbury Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 1000 block of Freeland Drive, near S. Arlington St.
On February 28, 2022, at approximately 6:00 PM, a male subject, later identified as Bruce Richard Godwin (32 yrs old), approached a Salisbury Police Officer in the Police Department garage. The male subject advised that he had recently been hired by the Police Department and was there to obtain some of his equipment.

Salisbury is making a change to its Salisbury-Rowan Utilities’ bill payment system that affects 1 percent of its customers.
