The Public Arts Commission (PAC) is on a mission to expand the types of art the commission supports and reach more residents through artistic expression. Inspired by St. Paul, Minnesota's Sidewalk Poetry, the PAC sent out a call to Rowan County poets for eight poems to be stamped in a 1.25 mile loop through Downtown Salisbury. Twenty-eight wonderful submissions were received and all were on display at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College's "Off the Page" Artist Reception held on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
