At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, Salisbury Police were dispatched to the Harris Teeter Grocery Store located at 850 West Jake Alexander Blvd. in reference to a possible armed robbery.
The Salisbury Police Department (SPD) will host an early, centralized National Night Out celebration, Saturday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the SPD parking lot on E. Liberty St. The Community Block Party will kickoff the customary National Night Out festivities in Salisbury which will be held on the following week.
Neighborhoods in Salisbury are encouraged to host a National Night Out celebration, Tuesday, Aug. 7, with music, food, children’s games and other outdoor activities.
Did you know that in the past year around 288 vehicles have been broken into in the City of Salisbury? In an effort to reduce theft from cars, the Salisbury Police Department (SPD) is launching a campaign to remind residents to “Lock it, Take it, or Lose it.”
