Salisbury City Council and city staff will host the first in a series of community town hall meetings titled, Chit, Chat & Chew, Thursday, May 24, beginning at 5:15 p.m., at City Park Recreation Center, 316 Lake Dr. The first event will be held for residents in the “Park and Medical” area of the city which encompasses neighborhoods around City Park, the hospital and the North Main Street area. 

The Salisbury Community Appearance Commission and Salisbury Housing Advocacy Commission are now accepting BlockWork applications from Salisbury city neighborhoods through Friday, June 15.

The City of Salisbury and Cheerwine are pleased to announce a partnership with Rowan Helping Ministries, a local non-profit dedicated to helping Rowan County residents in crisis, in relation to the Cheerwine Festival on Saturday, May 19.
