Be The Difference, Be A Maintenance Worker - Employee Spotlight: Mark Mosher

This month’s employee spotlight is Mark Mosher with the Salisbury Public Works Department. His role consists of the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of City buildings and facilities including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Mark has assisted with renovations at City Hall Council Chambers in early 2018 and recent renovations at Miller Recreation Center and City Park Recreation Center.

Salisbury to Host Statewide Summit Featuring Speakers on Active Mobility, Transportation Safety, and Community Engagement

Salisbury hosts Meet the Police Chief

The City of Salisbury welcomes residents and visitors to a special “Meet the Chief” event, Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at City Park, 316 Lake Dr. There, new Salisbury Police Chief P.J. Smith will greet and engage with attendees about his vision for public safety in Salisbury.

Fire Station #3 Groundbreaking

Salisbury’s newest Fire Station will be located at 150 Mahaley Ave. The 19,400-square-foot fire station will include three drive-through apparatus bays, a Fire Safety Education and Community Outreach Center and the city’s Emergency Operations Center.
