Employee Spotlight: Emily Vanek, Long-Range Planner Employee Spotlight: Emily Vanek, Long-Range Planner Communications / Monday, May 2, 2022 0 17739 This month’s employee spotlight is Emily Vanek, a long-range planner for the City of Salisbury Planning Department. In her role, Emily works on historic preservation and long-range planning efforts such as the Forward 2040 Comprehensive Plan. On a day-to-day basis, she works with residents, property owners and developers to review their plans for consistency with the Local Historic Design Standards and Land Development Ordinance, and issues Certificates of Appropriateness. Emily serves as the staff liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission. Read more
