The combined Human Relations Commission Back-to-School Community Resource Fair and Salisbury Police Department National Night Out event, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Aug. 13, 6 p.m. at Bell Tower Green due to anticipated rain.
The City Council meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Council meetings are open to the public.
Salisbury proudly showcases its artistic flair with the annual Sculpture Show. This year includes 24 new sculptures crafted by talented artists hailing from across the eastern United States. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, at approximately 5:30 AM, the Salisbury Police Department responded to a shots fired call at 128 Rowan Mill Rd.
The victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene has been identified as Charles William, an 80-year-old resident of Salisbury. The child, who was also injured in this incident remains in the ICU in critical condition at a local hospital.
