During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m. The City of Salisbury Public Works Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash.
The City Council meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Council meetings are open to the public.
The Salisbury Police Department hosts a monthly Salisbury Neighborhood Action Group (SNAG) meeting. At these meetings, citizens will hear monthly updates concerning drug investigations, criminal investigations, and code enforcement issues.
The Community Appearance Commission will hold a meeting at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The Landscape of the Month Committee will meet prior at 3:30 pm. These meetings will be held at the Salisbury City Office Building, 4th Floor Conference Room, at 132 North Main Street.

Downtown shops stay open later and offer various discounts! The eclectic crew of sidewalk artists, typically amounting to over 30 acts, perform in front of participating downtown businesses.

The City of Salisbury Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. The Advisory board meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1 pm unless otherwise noted. Location varies per meeting.
