During Spruce Up Weeks, City of Salisbury residents can place items at the curb on their regular collection day before 7:00 a.m.

The City of Salisbury Public Services Department will pick up your old appliances, tires without rims (limit 5 tires or less per location) and extra bagged trash. This is a great time to encourage a neighborhood cleanup!

The Public Art Committee (PAC) was formed in 2003 to celebrate the City’s history and culture through public art in the downtown, including the Salisbury Sculpture Show, History and Art Trail and the Art in Public Spaces program. 

The Public Art Committee meets at One Water Street at 11:30 a.m.

Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

Meetings of the HAC are held 1st Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Multi-purpose Room at One Water Street. No meetings are held in July.

Come by at noon for a brown bag lunch with the City Manager, W. Lane Bailey, to share ideas, voice concerns or speak in an open, unrestricted forum.

The City Council is the governing body of the City of Salisbury. The Council is comprised of five members who are elected on a non-partisan basis for two-year terms. Each Council member serves at-large and represents the entire City.
