Spring has sprung, and it’s time to get outside! Let us help enhance your landscape with a free tree. Stop by Town Creek Park between 10 a.m. and noon this Saturday, March 25, and pick up a passport. Get it stamped at 4 educational booths, or get 2 stamps and help the city arborist plant some trees at the park. Use your passport to choose a free 1 or 3 gallon tree, then enter to win your choice of 5 raffle prizes.
In case of rain, we’ll gather at the Salisbury Civic Center, 315 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. South.
Free trees are all native to NC and include: red maple, American holly, and various oak species. Raffle prizes include: a framed tree print, a garden kit, dog training session, and one of 2 large (up to 15 gallon) trees planted just for you.
We Dig Salisbury is sponsored by the Salisbury Community Appearance Commission and the Salisbury Tree Board.
