On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the Salisbury Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 110 Thermoid Way. Firefighters arrived on the scene within minutes to find advanced fire conditions in a commercial structure.
Due to the intensity of the fire, the incident was quickly escalated to a 3rd alarm, with additional units called in to provide coverage for city stations. Approximately 50 firefighters are actively engaged in combating the blaze, utilizing coordinated efforts to bring the fire under control.
The building, a vacant commercial structure, was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
