Employee Spotlight: Terry SImmons
This month’s employee spotlight is Terry Simmons, a City of Salisbury Transit Dispatcher. Terry handles incoming calls and processes service requests from citizens, medical facilities, and government agencies. She ensures the implementation of ADA-compliant trips and oversees cancellations. Additionally, Terry plays a key role in coordinating driver assignments for both fixed routes and ADA services.
Terry’s daily responsibilities encompass managing account receivables, reconciling transit passes, and delivering top-notch customer service by addressing questions and concerns from citizens. With a remarkable 17 years of experience with the City, Terry finds immense satisfaction in treating customers the way she values being treated – with kindness and a warm smile.
