The 2020 Salisbury Sculpture Show debuted in Salisbury last month.
Now in its 12th year, the award-winning Sculpture Show is organized by the Salisbury Public Art Committee (SPAC), and has brought 18 sculptures from across the eastern United States to temporary homes in downtown Salisbury, local colleges and around Salisbury neighborhoods.
This year’s show features works from Paris Alexander, Matt Amante, Jonathan Bowling, Russel Foster, Jim Gallucci, Hanna Jubran, Jason Morris, Jordan Parah, John Parker, Charles Pilkey, Richard Pitts, Mary Ruden, Adam Walls and Jim Weitzel.
Residents and visitors interested in the self-guided tour should begin at the Visitors’ Center located at 204 East Innes Street to pick up a brochure or visit www.salisburync.gov/SculptureShow. While on the walking tour, participants can utilize the Otocast app, a mobile audio guide used around the country for public art, historic sites and landmarks. The Otocast app is free and can be downloaded from Apples App Store and the Google Play Store.
The 2020 Salisbury Sculpture Show runs up to April 2021. For more visit www.salisburync.gov/SculptureShow.
