Claire Karriker is an administrative specialist in the City’s information technology services department. She has been employed with the City of Salisbury for seven years.
In her role, Claire oversees the IT department’s financial data, works with each department’s technology needs including technology replacement schedule and meeting with vendors to find the best value for purchases. She has also worked with community programs such as Citizen’s Academy, Girls Who Code, and the Hackathon.
“I love that my job allows me to interact with each department in the City. I witness firsthand how everyone works together with purpose, and how projects can come to fruition from start to finish. I can showcase my passion to serve, by being involved in our committees to help aid in making Salisbury a better place to work and live.”
