The City of Salisbury Community Planning Department is inviting the public to provide input on the Downtown Main Street Plan.
There are two phases of this project consisting of (1) an interim striping plan and (2) a conceptual plan for long term changes to the Main Street streetscape. This project is in the stage of receiving community feedback on the plans for restriping the roadway and the opportunity to change the lanes and parking angles on Main Street.
Community input is a vital part of the planning process. The public is invited to provide feedback at the upcoming presentations:

In summer 2019, the City of Salisbury hired McAdams, a professional engineering and design firm, to design plans to improve the safety, mobility and appearance of a 10-block section of Main Street. McAdams presented the initial presentation during the Tuesday, Dec. 1 Salisbury City Council meeting.
